Annual Fundraising Dinner & Dance
Our now legendary Annual Fundraising Dinner & Dance is coming soon! Last year's was great, but there were so many of us at the Passage to India restaurant that we all got squashed together, even though we had the whole restaurant to ourselves.
We've hired a much bigger venue this time that can easily hold 150 of us. It's a chance for all of us to have a fantastic night of fun, eating and dancing together while raising money for a good local cause.
This year we’re holding our annual fundraising evening on Friday, 21st November 2025, at Taka Tak's Banqueting Hall in Bath Rd, Heston.
We raising funds for our very low-cost (£1 a class) chair yoga classes for local residents aged 65 and over, which we hold every Monday and Thursday from 12–1 pm at the Heston District Association Hall in Vicarage Farm Road.
These sessions have become a real lifeline for many older adults in our community, helping them stay active, social, and well. Each class is attended by around 60–90 students, with a total of 250 participants.
To help cover our costs and to keep these classes accessible to everyone, we’re looking to raise £7200, which will enable us to run our classes for a year.
As part of the evening, we’re hiring a DJ, holding a raffle, setting up a photo booth and much more!
We’re approaching local businesses, including Blue Estate Agents, Right at Home, Care Co, Jade Pharmacy, Mohan’s, Farm Pizza and others, as we want this to be a true community effort.
Your support would mean a great deal to us, and even more to the older residents who benefit from these classes every week.
